I am doing this my self, I dare not say I have an outstanding results yet (still pretty much an amateur) but hey! … if there is nothing to lose, why not! In a way, its also to see how good your pictures are, that people are willing to buy! Right!
I recommend Shutterstock! Do give it a try and who knows, it’s your potential retirement funds!
However you do need to submit a passport photo to certify your identity, this could be a problem if you don’t have one though.
Do share with me if you have any success stories!

In another alternative, you may try iStockphoto too. Unlike Shutterstock who needs 7/10 pictures to qualify, iStockphoto needs 3 only.

I did not sign up because US0.25 is not worth me going thru all the trouble.
And plus it is not guaranteed, still have to wait for people to download. What are the chances?

Hello. MMmm…..I don’t really agree with this way of earning $$ though. I personally felt that you have absolutely no idea what and how they will use our photos. And Actually we might be able to sell our photos at higher price if ever used. Well…just think it will be better we have prior knowledge what it is use for b4 selling.

Hello Tiffany, i do understand your concerns there … but i guess as an individual (amateur beginner especially), it is sometime difficult to find the customer base to be able to sell the pictures … it is only via such channel that you may be able to tap in the huge clientele … pros and cons …
