April seems to be an interesting month so far … it started with a joke and continues on with loads of activities. I’ll share with you why …

April fool’s eve
I sent out an engagement announcement to a couple of friends, colleagues and my cousins. Check out the email content below …

It’s my immense pleasure to inform you that I will be getting married soon.
Sorry to inform you in short notice after vacation.
I’m having my engagement tomorrow.
I never expected this to happen so soon, it was all in a hurry.
The card and venue details are attached with this mail.
I would like to invite you personally due to the lack of time I was unable to inform earlier.
I really hope you can all make it. Please do forgive the short notice.

I am sure some of you probably have received something of the similar kind on the ‘Fool’s day’. I am definitely not the original author; basically I’ve recycled the content from a friend who has ‘Fooled’ me too. The verdict? I’ve received calls from my cousin to congratulate me, calls from friends to enquire more, some IM me for the same reason … a lot … was ‘fooled’ silently (you know who you are! hee). Man … I tell you, I almost died laughing. But of course there are those who don’t believe that I am getting married … I guess I don’t have the qualities of getting married or am I still that young? Boo Hoo …

4th April
Attended my usual photography club gathering at Than Siang. There will be a photo exhibition soon in conjunction with Wesak Day (20 May) and I’ve got 6 pictures selected for display! Small step in photography but a quantum leap in my faith for being a photographer. I’ve will post up more info about the event soon, do come and support me ya!

5th April
Attended a photography workshop entitled: The art of photography. A short but interesting session and made a couple new friends!

18, 19 and 20th April
PC Fair! I will be helping my mom to get a brand new laptop, maybe getting my self an iPod, perhaps a printer too, a pack of CD covers, a mouse, maybe a thumb drive too ~ why do I have to be such a gadget person???

27th April
A photography outing to Taiping organized by my photography club. Snap and shoot away!
