The first dawn of the RAT year!

February 7th, 2008 · 5 Comments

I’ve not been very successful in seeing or taking pictures of the sunrise on the first day of New Year (my so called auspicious day since it’s the first day of the brand New Year). Hence I decided to change it to first sunrise of the Chinese New Year. Well … the verdict …

Call me crazy for trying to wake up at 6-ish in the morning just to take pictures for only half an hour. Well you see the time frame for the morning twilight and the early part of the sunrise is only a very small window time, and it only happen once a day! Well although the pictures weren’t fantastic, I will still try again in probably another month or so and in a slightly different location until I get my perfect picture. In case you don’t know, the picture was taken in the Jelutong Expressway … the bridge that you are looking at is Penang Bridge!

Till then … stick around ya!
