During my secondary years, I always had a dream that I will visit Japan one day to see the Cherry blossom, ski in Hokkaido and try the hot spring bath. I remember back then, I even sleep walked and thought that I am going to Tokyo, Japan. Yeah I use to sleep walk, my mom said that I fell asleep on the couch and suddenly woke up and walked to the main door (I even opened the door). Sensing that there was something weird about me, my mom asked “Where are you going?” I answered “Bye, I am going to Tokyo, Japan”. Knowing the weird statement, my mom said “Later, get back to sleep”; hence I go back to the couch and fell asleep again.
Well I couldn’t recall the incident at all but I guess subconsciously that is what I really wanted.
Interesting fact for those who have experience with sleep walking or sleep walkers:-
- Our eyes are open
- We know where the keys are (SCARRY)
- We talk in proper sentences but probably in a strange context
I think I out grown sleep walking now … no new reported incident!
Anyway the plan now is to give my self 2 years to save up and go for a nice long holiday in Japan. To travel comfortably there, knowing the language is probably crucial. Hence, I signed up for Japanese courses and try to converse with my friends as much as possible (practice makes perfect). I even made flash card and stick it around my room (even the toilet), a subconscious way of learning hehe. I am always bad with language hence learning a completely new language is a steep learning curve. Thankfully I am a big fan in Anime (Japanese cartoon / animation), in a way it did help me a little bit.
Speaking about learning a new language, I guess the Japanese had a similar issue with learning English. I am not trying to make fun of them, but I just foresee my self to be in the similar situation when I try to speak in Japanese.

Well that is because the saving method is the “ikat perut” style. Japan is expensive but not impossible, work so hard to earn must have a goal right! This means … fewer cuti cuti Malaysia.

opss.. I think I mistaken the “like” you’re talking about. I was refering to “similarity”. Now I only notice that you mean “suka”

Two ways of looking in this case for malaysian guys - the good = dont make all the decision, will seek the other half for consideration, the bad = less or no decision making ability, will think less … HAHAHAHAHA

yeah not so tai lam yan, and like as in suka
you see mich, there’s no solution to this actually, if men made all the decisions, we’re branded as tai lam yan, if we seek the other half before making a decision we are then lacking the ability to make decisions.

yr sleep walk thing very scary loh.. luckily not now anymore, I guess. Learning Jap… Sticking it around yr room is one of the fastest way. I also used the similar method. I write the object in Jap and stick on the object itself. Ganbatte ne.
