Just last week, my colleague and I had a craving for beef noodles. So off we go and drove all the way to town in search of a famous Beef Soup Koay Teow (a type of Chinese noodle). Well it sounded real far but it took us approx 15 minutes only to reach there and another 5-10 min to find a car park. The shop is located at the end of Kapitan Keling traffic light junction, right opposite the fire station - hence car park was a little difficult (at all times). The shop seems to have existed for eons only serve Beef noodle, your only selection is either you want the internal organs or not only.

While waiting for food, you will see the owner cutting / slicing up big slabs of meat (I assume it is Beef). I guess I can safely say its freshness guarantee! Our food is served approximately 5-8 minutes later. The bowl was covered in heaps of meat and this is the small version only, imagine the large version. A meal fit for a carnivore indeed …

The verdict. Overall a good meal, pack with tones of iron. However for my personal preference I prefer a tastier soup rather than a soup that is purely meat base. Value for money in terms of food quality and quantity, as for the same price I usually can’t get it in any Taiwanese restaurant.
Word of caution, if you are generally uncomfortable with hawker-center-like setting or prefer tip top cleanliness, this may not be a choice for you but again you may be missing out a lot of good stuff! Hehe.
Let me know if you’ve been to this place? What’s your verdict?

Very expensive la man…Kuoy Teow only, I prefer Beef Chop, or raw beef in sushi.

Kai, thanks for validating. Well maybe the picture i took wasnt appetizing enought. But seriously there wasnt much color to start off, probably a better food presentation would help.
